How Can You Help

The child you see in the photograph, is Lovis, one of the 485 children of our orphanage. She came to our orphanage when  she was a little over three years. She was a mute witness to the brutal killing of her parents. Her parents, both Christian workers, were massacred one morning by a group of anti-Christian people just as she got up. After that tragedy, Lovis never smiled. Many people tried their level best to get this child to smile but nothing seemed to work. It was at this time that I met a lady called Elena, from Norway who asked me, what she could do to help the children of the orphanage. I remembered Lovis' sad face and asked Elena to spend  time with Lovis and get her to smile once again. Elena spent her time in the orphanage, playing with the children, helping the staff,  becoming friends with the children and most importantly, trying her best to bring a smile to Lovis. Lo and behold! Elena's efforts  were rewarded when after three months, Lovis began to smile again.

Most of the children in our orphanage have witnessed similar tragedies or have undergone a lot of suffering. Do you want to bring a smile to their faces? Do you want to hear them sing praises to our Lord? Do you want to see them study and become our future missionaries? Do you want to become a foster parent to any of these children? There are more than 280 children awaiting sponsorship….help them to smile again.

You can help by:

Becoming a foster parent to one or more of the 485 orphan girl children awaiting sponsorship. Contributing to the Building Fund that will enable the girls to have better educational facilities.
